I got asked to shoot this wonderful wedding of Alison and Neil on May 10th 2014. It was one of those sunny yet moody weather days, and as I drove out the city, it got moodier and moodier.. Upon arrival to shoot prep shots, there were hugs and kisses from family and friends arriving in from abroad... one couple drove up from the West and a suit was forgotten, so a trip into Naas in the morning sorted that out! The church ceremony was beautiful, the priest was a school pal of the groom Neil, and he pointed out in comedy timing the lateness of the bride, it set the sweet tone for the remainder of the church ceremony and put nerves at bay...
We drove to Castlebellingham and it poured and poured for the duration of the drive over, but as soon as we got to the Castle the clouds parted as if knowing we had arrived and needed this break... We got an hour of couple shots and another tick off the list, the groom so relaxed I think he wanted to pose more!!
And so we continued shooting well into the evening.. Thank you Neil and Alison for allowing me into your wedding world!! A truly beautiful and loving wedding to document!
